Successful mass production of HJT process solar cells

On July 20, 2022, the company's first batch of HJT (heterojunction with intrinsic thin film) - intrinsic thin film heterojunction cells. It has a symmetrical double-sided cell’s structure with n-type crystalline silicon in the middle. An intrinsic amorphous silicon film and a p-type amorphous silicon film are sequentially deposited on the front side to form a p-n junction. On the back side, intrinsic amorphous silicon film and n-type amorphous silicon film are deposited in order to form the back surface field. In view of the poor conductivity of amorphous silicon, transparent conductive films (TCO) are deposited on both sides of the battery to conduct electricity. Finally, screen printing technology is used to form double-sided electrodes.This marks the complete maturity of the company's research on hjt technology, and also marks the breakthrough of the company's components in 600W + technology.

Since the substrate of the HJT cell is usually n-type monocrystalline silicon, and the n-type monocrystalline silicon is phosphorus doped, there is no boron oxygen recombination, boron iron recombination, etc. in the p-type monocrystalline silicon, so the HJT cell is immune to the lid effect. TCO thin film is deposited on the surface of HJT cell, and there is no insulating layer, so there is no chance for the surface layer to be charged, and PID is avoided structurally. The attenuation of HJT cell is 1-2% in the first year and 0.25% every year thereafter, which is much lower than the attenuation of gallium doped perc solar cell (2% in the first year and 0.45% every year thereafter). Therefore, the power generation per w of HJT cell in the whole life cycle is about 1.9% - 2.9% higher than that of double-sided perc solar cell. Through the breakthrough in the mass production technology of components, the production technology level of our super power components can be compared with that of the domestic mainstream first-line manufacturers, and the economic benefits of the use of components are far higher than most of the brand components.
